Get to know your affiliate manager

Affiliate relationship works in both way from marketor to manager. Either party will rely on each other to further improve result in their job performance.

As an affiliate marketor like us, it's important to keep good relationship with affiliate manager, to get better deal such as higher commission sharing and to keep yourself up to date with the latest programs's news.

By having good repo with your affiliate manager, you can request to receive higher commission rate either in CPA or percentage sharing scheme. As an example, your commission rate could increase from 30% to 35%. The 5% seems to be too little but let's calculate the different in your earning.

Let's say you have 5 programs, each generating £300 commission per month at 30% percentage sharing and your monthly income is £1500. If your % were to increase to 35%, you will receive nother £50 from each program and the total earning per month increase to £1750. A £250 per month would be £3000 per year. See the different?

Email is the common way to keep in touch and it could be the only way to contact an affiliate manager. Althought telephone is the basic of contact but it will be a little costly due to geographic location.

Althought commonly we communicate in email, but it will be better if you can meet up with them personally. Face to face conversasion is the most simple and most traditional way to get closer to each other.

One way to meet up with the managers is by attending convention. There will be at least 5 conventions held every year in different corner of the world from European countries to United State to Far East. That is the best chance to meet up personally with your affiliate manager who you always have email conversation with.
